This policy explains what personal information Angadi collects when you order from us, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We keep this deliberately short and specific.

What we collect

• Your details: name, phone number, and email address if you create an account.
• Delivery address: the address you enter, and — only if you choose to share it — your map location, so our delivery partner can find you.
• Order information: what you ordered, your chosen delivery date and slot, and your order history.
• Payment information: handled entirely by our payment provider. We never see or store your card details, UPI PIN, or bank credentials.

Why we collect it

• To prepare, deliver and support your order.
• To contact you about your order — usually by phone or WhatsApp on the delivery date.
• To keep records required for tax and accounting.

We do not use your details for unrelated marketing without your consent, and we never sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

Only what's necessary to get your order to you:

• Our payment provider (Razorpay) — to process online payments and refunds.
• Our delivery partners — your name, phone and address, so they can deliver.
• Our hosting and database providers — who store the site and order data on our behalf.
• Authorities — where we are legally required to disclose information.

Information stored in your browser

We store your cart, your saved address, and your sign-in session in your own browser so the site works between visits. This stays on your device. We use basic analytics to understand how the site is used.

How long we keep it

Order and transaction records are retained for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Account details are kept while your account is active.

Your choices

• You can view and update your details any time in your account.
• You can ask us to delete your account and personal details — message us on WhatsApp. Order records that we're legally required to keep are retained until that period ends, then deleted.

Security

Payments run over encrypted connections through our payment provider, and access to order data is restricted to people who need it to run deliveries. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously and act quickly if something looks wrong.

Children

Angadi is intended for use by adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top of this page.
